I will be surprised to find a Pakistani who will say I do not know Imran Khan, because he is one of the most popular person in the Pakistan as well as loved by hundreds of thousands people around the world. He is known primarily as one of the best cricketer that the world has ever seen which ended up in the form of Pakistan winning the cricket world cup in 1992, the first time ever in the captaincy of this legendary player.

Building the cancer hospital was itself a big challenge and when you do it without a major financial institution help or without any loan then people will think you are crazy and wasting your time. But Imran khan did it and convinced the whole nation that we need to build this cancer hospital that will serve us and our future generations for years to come. This is not just a cancer treatment hospital but a state of the art cancer research facility which is run by highly educated staff members.

More Cancer Hospitals Nationwide
Due to great success of SKMT project, Imran Khan is moving forward with his charity funded cancer hospital projects and work is in progress in two major cities of Pakistan which is Peshawar and Karachi. So we will see these new projects opening in the near future. These hospitals will be blessings for the natives of these cities as well as surrounding areas so they can receive world class cancer care free of charge and at the convenience of their own city.

NUML College Mianwali
Another successful project which was launches some years back is the NUML College project which is in itself a big project for poor people of Mianwali and surrounding cities to receive technical degrees and receive world class education. There are two major aspects of this project, first is that this project has affiliation with University of Bradfork UK and students graduating from NUML college will receive the degree of Univeristy of Bradford. The second aspect of this project is that students enrolled in the degree programs do not have to pay any money to receive this world class education. Most of the students joining the program do not pay anything and study on 100% scholarship funded by charity. When they graduate they will receive degree from University of Bradford UK which normally costs 60,00000 Rupees (PKR). Which shows its true worth and what a blessing for the people living in that area.

Imran is not going to stop here, he has a long term plan for education awareness. The selection of the land for the NUML project itself explains his vision, he later announced nationwide and requested top class education institutes to build colleges and universities in that area and they will receive land free of cost. His vision is to build an education city in Mianwali, which we could see becoming a reality in next decade.
